Being a gardener has meant mainly one thing recently – saturation of all things subterranean and clotthing.
Due to years of research, as I prepare for my winter gardening period I have discovered the wonderous material that is Ventile . Warm,waterproof and wind proof spring to mind, it is also particularly mud resilient. A gardeners sense of heaven.
Tuesday was particularly mushy, the main cause being lack of frost. Statuesque perennials now resemble limp lettuce. Three pairs of sodden gloves later time for home to warm up. Thank you to our log burner.
Roll out the Ventile and thermals, roll on Spring..
