My plan to grow as much from seed this year is in full swing.
Keeping notes is always a good idea. Neatness would appear to have tailed off though! In addition, some plant labels have become lost along the way – good job I recognised the leaf.

I continue to find gorgeous new plants at work. This is Dodecatheon meadia or Shooting star, which likes to grow in shade. I came across this truly stunning perennial growing very happily underneath a hellebore leaf.
The curled petals of Tulip Peppermint stick stopped me in my tracks.
Peonies and Alliums are starting to appear, which is always a timely reminder that Chelsea flower show is just a week away. I cannot beleive this will be my 25th year of Chelsea flower gazing.
