When working conditions are good, I find myself mulching, pruning and admiring ten gardens on a weekly basis. However reduced light levels and inclement weather does make regular income generation erratic through the winter.
I supplement my winter income by creating and selling door garlands, Laburnum stem chandeliers and designing window displays for commercial businesses.

Due to being unable to source natural white berries, air drying clay was used. Oranges were thinly sliced and coated with sugar, then dried out on a very low oven setting.

Small chunks of clay were cut
then rolled into berries
And finally I have festooned The Raven Hotel in Much Wenlock with Gourds, holly and oranges.
I truly enjoy being a gardener, however life as a florist is proving to be incredibly creative and interesting. I may have to look into this further in 2020.

Fabulous. Xx

Thanks Lou, the shop window sparkles with winter joy. I think one more gourd might just have tipped the balance though !
